Another Successful SALTEX

4th November 2019

Turfdry stand at SALTEX 2019

It’s been another busy couple of days at the NEC, with the Institute of Groundsmanship’s SALTEX show giving Turfdry an opportunity to talk with visitors from all over the world about our nationally renowned natural pitch construction projects, as well as the revolutionary drainage performance of Hydraway. More than that though, the show represents an excellent time to take the pulse of the industry, with people from every role at every level of grounds management roaming the show floor, each with their unique perspectives. In particular, the ‘Learning Live’ seminars provide some fascinating insight – either on the industry as a whole, or on the particular challenges and triumphs of individuals and teams. Although the talk from the Tottenham Hotspur grounds team was certainly the most popular, it is equally valuable to hear from the IOG itself, and hearing about the strides the Grounds and Natural Turf Improvement Program (GaNTIP) is making was excellent to hear.

Whilst we’ll need some time to catch our breath (and catch up with those visitors eager to pursue further enquiries), we’re already looking forward to next year’s event – see you all there! In the meantime, don’t hesitate contact us if you have a drainage or construction project you would like to discuss, or would simply like some friendly, no-obligation advice on improving your sports facilities; we really do love to hear from people so get in touch today.
